Neurosurgeons are medical doctors who have extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with conditions affecting the peripheral nerves, spine, blood vessels supplying the brain, and the brain. 

Common Conditions

Neurological surgery can be used for the treatment and management of a variety of disorders and injuries. The most common include:

• Head trauma (brain hemorrhages, skull fractures, etc.)

Our Team

Richard V. Chua, MD, FAANS, FACS, Timothy K. Putty, MD, FAANS, MBA, and Thomas B. Scully, MD, FAANS are Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. They have successfully completed residency in Neurosurgery after internship and graduating from an accredited School of Medicine.

NNS also utilizes Neurological Surgery Physician Assistants for most surgical cases and post-operative follow-up visits.
